Born on August 27, 1962, in Yerevan. From 1969 to 1979, he studied at Yerevan's secondary school No. 124. From 1980 to 1985, he studied at the Architectural and Construction Faculty of the Yerevan Karl Marx Polytechnic Institute, specializing in architecture and industrial and civil construction. In 1990, he was awarded the title of folk master of artistic wood and stone processing by the Republican Scientific and Methodological Center for Folk Art and Cultural and Educational Work of the Ministry of Culture of the Armenian SSR. In 1991, after moving to America, he participated in numerous exhibitions, thus solidifying his love for design and sculpture.
